Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden cordless system I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.

SOURCE: Uniden Dect1560 - For incoming

Your model is a phone only, without an answering machine built in. This means that voicemail is provided by your phone service on your line, and that's where you need to adjust the rings before it picks up. The phone itself has nothing to do with it.

You may have to call your service provider for setup instructions because not all systems are the same, but here's how it usually works. Pick up your phone and call your own number to reach your voicemail. When your message starts, press the * button and the system will ask for your pass code (just like when you call to get your messages). Follow the voice prompts to reach the main menu, then mailbox settings, where you'll be able to change the ring count.

If these steps don't work for you, ask your service provider what you need to do.

SOURCE: How do I change the number of rings before voice

Hi,

I already have encountered several of these concerns but the number of rings before voicemail activates is not a setting that can be adjusted on the phone. It depends on the Telephone Service Provider. According to them, they cannot adjust it. That's how it works and there is nothing they can do about it.

That depends on the model of your system. Select the model from the list beginning at

to get the appropriate manual.

KX-T7633 Voicemail rings

The Voice Mail feature is set by your phone company, not by the phone. Typically the phone company will set it for 20 seconds, or approximately 4 rings. This is called your voice mail "Ring Cycle"

Call them up (the customer service number should be on your phone bill) and they should be able to increase or decrease your ring cycle for you at no charge.
