The Drum must be replaced It cannot be reset. There is a chip inside which configutres the default page counter. regular and high yield drums available http://www.bizrate.com/ink-toner-inkjet-cartridges/brother-dcp-7030-drum/

did you do the reset procedure? if not it's in your owners manual under the section "replacing the consumables".

I got a "drum error"
Its been a while since i have done a brother drum change but if i remember correctly dont you have to have the drum front cover open while pressing the clear/back button? Then i think it says new drum/ and you press yes?

This is NOT an error code...the machine is simply telling you that it has run/printed a certain number of pages and it will soon be time to replace the drum.
