My default browser is working but my opera and all application needin gprs is not working

Go to Menu > Settings > Configuration Settings > Personal Configuration Settings
Add new 'Access point' and 'Web'

Now edit the Access point, choose its name (you can put any name)
Now fill the APN bsnlnet
No need to fill the proxy or port or username or password, the most important thing here is the APN

set this access point as the default access ooint

Now try browsing in opera mini

STEP1. OPEN YOUR MOBILES DEFAULT BROWSER AND GO TO THE ADDRESS www.m.opera.com
STEP2. GO TO DOWNLOAD SECTION AND CHOOSE YOUR PHONE.
STEP3. DOWNLOAD PHONE SPECIFIC OPERAMINI AND INSTALL IT.
NOW YOU ARE DONE.
IT IS SAFE AND HARMLESS BECAUSE IT'S OFFICIAL SITE OF OPERA MINI.

whenever i m downloading any instant messanger on my samsung duos chat 322, its getting cancelled and shows a message "invalid JAR". What does it mean? Why is it showing with each and every instant messanger.

First you enter your gprs setting at application setting. Make proxy setting off and you will be able to use internet. Was it helpful?

the porblem is the gprs settings provided by airtel. it doesnt allow the third party software to use internet. so the problem can easily be solved by making manual settings.

1. Acivate GPRS and configure proper settings for the same ( call to your network operator customer care for that)

2. Using your mobile's web browser goto http://mini.opera.com

3. If your mobile supports java applications, then you can donwload and use the opera mini java application from the above link.

4. If your mobile not has java capabaility then its not possible to use the java (opera) application.

just for the info, GPRS setting may differ in every mobile phone, that is why you should contact your network provider for the exact and accurate settings for your phone.

You m,ight have copied opera mini from net and posted in your jawa world. This will not work at all.

Just go to www.mini.opera.com and download 4.2 version by ur default browser.

Its working fine with me.

u first have to install opera mini in ur mobile and have to connect to the internet
Make sure that ur GPRS is activated and the gprs settings are also with u of ur mobile which is provided by the network operator.

If u dont have opera mini browser u can install it from GETJAR.COM  which is a wide site for mobile applications.
