Jenn-Air CCE3401 COOK TOP

WE NEED A MANUAL FOR this cooktop that is in a house we just moved to. I was told on the phone that if we went to jen-air.com on the internet we would find a manual for it. It is so hard to bring Jen-air up -  I don't know if I still have Jen-Air now or something else. So far this experience has been very unsettling. Please Help.

CAN YOU USE CAST IRON SKILLETS ON RADIANT GLASS COOK TOPS?
you CAN use the skillet, but not with great results id assume, it holds too much heat, and problaby a bit too rough underneath and would probably scratch the glass top, in a family business for over 20 yrs. now and thats my recomendation, my brother also in the same feild swears his wife uses it with no issues!!!

Melted plastic help!!!!!!!
While the cook top is cool, use a razor blade scraper to remove most of the melted plastic.  Turn on the cook top to warm the remaining plastic slightly, turn off the cooktop,  and then wipe off the excess.

Broken glass cook top
The top can not be repaired. The glass must be replaced . DO NOT USE IT CRACKED!!!!!!!!!!!! This is very dangerous as it can explode from the temperature. Also this is a severe electrical danger as glass top units have exposed elements underneath. Any liquid at all can short it out and cause a fire. I don't know if it is worth repairing. I don't have the exact price for your cooktop but last one I priced was between $350 - $500.
