Utorrent not seeding or leching

Utorrent works on the premise that there are many people wanting the file that is being downloaded and many people have the file or parts of it available to be downloaded.
When one person is holding the whole file then they can seed this file so others can download it. As long as they have the file complete and available others can download it normally in blocks such as 4 kb blocks. As they download the blocks then they are available to others to download from them so if you have downloaded 50% of a file then that 50% of the file is available to any others that want to download it.
To this end someone can download part of the file from you and part of the file from another person thus speeding up the download process.
when two people are downloading different parts from the seeder they can also download the parts the other person has downloaded. So each person is helping to speed up the process of getting the file.

Once each person has a complete file then they can seed that file in its' complete form allowing many people to download the file quickly.

Where the torrent system falls over is when the initial person with the complete file stops seeding the file before each person downloading the file has the complete file. If there is any part of the file not contained on at least one downloaders computer then the file will continue to wait till that piece is available before completing the download thus leaving all downloaders without a complete file.

If a file has become dormant where no people are carrying any part of the file then the torrent program sits waiting for any part to become available to start downloading.

How to download in my pc?

1.

When you download a file-such as a program, update, game, video, or document-you transfer it from the Internet to your computer.

2.

When you download files using Download Manager, they're automatically saved in the Downloads folder. This folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:\users\your name\downloads). For information about managing your downloads and changing where they are saved, see Using Download Manager in Internet Explorer

If you're saving a file, you can choose to save it to a particular folder. If you don't select a folder yourself, some files are automatically saved to a folder associated with the file type. For example, if you right-click a picture on a web page, and then choose Save Picture As, it will be saved to the Pictures folder.

3.
Open Download Manager

  1. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the Tools button getcontent.aspx?assetid=448ef968-d58a-43a2-b0cc-f396f4024f2c&documentset=en-us&prod=win700&market=us , and then click View downloads.

***************************************************************************

Right-click a file, and then click this

To do this

Delete File

Delete the file from the computer.

Copy download link

Copy the link you used to download the file. You can paste the link, and then save it or send it to someone else.

Go to download webpage

Open the webpage where you downloaded the file.

Open containing folder

Open the file's location on the computer.

Report that this file is unsafe

Open a SmartScreen webpage where you can report malware (malicious software).

Rerun security checks on this file

Run all security checks, including SmartScreen filter, on the file.
This information is in the "help files" in your computer.

My Rogers Rocket stick will not complete the download to my desktop pc I have XP

You might want to check and see how much hard drive space you have, since these types of downloads use a temp file then they transfer that temp file into your download directory. For instance you download a 60mg file, that 60 mg file file actually needs about 200mg of space to fully download. 60mg in the temp file to hold the file while it is downloading, another 60mg to write the file into your download directory and 80mg to act as a virtual memory on your hard drive. If any one of those things aren't right, your download gets tossed. Also one more thing, if your rogers stick loses connection for more then about 30 seconds on a download, it sorta forgets what it was doing and wanders off to do something else.
