Navigon 7210 stuck on boot screen and reseting or trying to restore the software using a computer are not working. Any suggestion?

SOURCE: The volume isn't working on our Navigon 7210

Go to the volume screen. Tap the buttons for louder and softer. If the volume indicator does not move then goto solution A. If the indicator does move but you do not hear the voice say "louder" or "softer" goto solution B.

A. There is a problem in your settings file. You need to reset these files to factory status. This will reset all your settings to factory default. From the main screen hit Options then hit Options again. You should see a button that says "set to factory" or something like that. Click that and then reenter your custom settings as you like. Problem fixed.

B. You have a hardware problem. Call Navigon support for repair options.

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.
ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it

Hey,

Have you tried the "Power Flee". Sometimes this small step works where we don't expect it to be..

>Press and hold the "power button" for 5-10 seconds.

>Remove all cables, peripheral devices(If connected)

>Take out the laptop battery and wait for couple of minutes.

>Insert the battery again and try to boot.

If it passes through the dell logo screen now and still stuck somewhere(BLACK / BLANK screen), then we can try "advanced boot options", Windows vista / 7 WINRE options(startup repair, system restore, various commands from "command prompt", and complete factory restore).

If its still stuck on that same dell loading screen, consult your manufacturer for hardware diagnostics.

Hi,

I don't think the problem is on your firewire since it still charge your camera. I suspect your camera driver get fail. Please re move and reinstall the driver on your computer and get them paired again.

I turn it on now it says navigon software cannot be started hold on off key pressed and press reset simultaneously..still doesnt work...help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delete the app and reinstall it via iTunes.
If that doesn't work, you might want to consider restoring your iPhone via iTunes, then reinstalling Navigon. Hope that helps.

When I plug in my navigon in all it shows is a computer and an image of it. I have even tried to plug into my laptop but same results. I have pushed the reset and the start up screen and music shows...
try connecting it to a computer with the software and do a restore

Navigon 2000s I cannot reset the Navigon 2000s
Well after many emails to Navigon I got the fix for my 2000s What you have to do is download the 1.2 version software for the 5100 install it on a 2GB micro SD Card. Put it in the slot and turn it on. You will have to regester as if you have a 5100 but it will work. The reason you have to use a 2GB card is the maps are to large to go on the internal memory.
