Hi, My Viao screen keeps blinking every few seconds or so. what does that mean

You have a couple of problems if you are sure there are 2 different blink codes. 13 blinks indicates a backlight balancer error which would explain your no light condition. 14 blinks would be a TCON board error which is the driver board for the LCD screen. Either error would keep the screen black.

Hi, It could well be the power supply that is in the back of your set. Have a repairman check it out. It's not a do it yourself thing. Good luck.

12 blinks of standby light indicates 'Scanrate error'. You must have thorough knowledge in electronics to proceed. Actually, this is not a user repairable fault. it is very skilled work.

Three time blink means tv got problem in convergence output circuit, replace convergence output ICs to solve the issue.

• As soon as you restart your computer keep tap f2 key.
• You can Bios screen, leave it for half an hour.
• if you have same problem in the bios screen, its problem with the monitor.
• if not problem with your operation system.

Does it blackout while in use?

Have you tried using it without a battery? format your pc...

if the battery is very flat, the red light blinks.
try sliding the little battery switch off for a few seconds, then on again, and have the charger connected

I have the same problem and I've seen that others have the same problem with the blinking monitor, but I have yet to see a solution for this. Is there any?
