    Hi there,

We have a Panasonic KX-T7433 Digital phone system in our offices. I stupdily removed our access lines 1 and 3 by mistake. How do I program those lines so that I have access to the 3 lines instead of 1.

    Thanks

We get this " CO Not Assigned" error msg as well. Please help!

I was going to program a ONE TOUCH dialing (Page 18 of the manual)

and I accidentally used our outgoing LINE 1 then I tried LINE 2.

We have 3 lines. Now I only have LINE 3 as an outgoing line

How do I REPROGRAM LINE ONE AND LINE TWO back to Outgoing Lines

  • Anonymous Feb 26, 2009

I stupidly tried to program one touch dialing on our outgoing lines. Now they are not valid. How do I REPROGRAM them to outgoing lines again???

This would have to be one of the most stupidly written owner manuals I think I have experienced. Same problem and no support on the panasonic site either. Much prefer the NEC version of this sort of phone.
Sorry, not much help, but sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone.

I'm really frustrated because I have the same problem and noone could help me. What is more in user manual apear sentense "An outside (CO) line which is not assigned to a CO button cannot be dialed" - but there isn't any indication HOW TO DO IT !!! Fu....

Finnaly I know how to solve this problem. You have to do on a phone: "program" -> "99" -> (chose button to which it will be assigned) -> "*" -> "program"

    see you

Kamyk_78 has written correctly but he missed one step.

1) Press "PROGRAM"
2) Enter "99"
3)Chose button to which it will be assigned (generally 1 but it isn't from numpad, it is from lines from 1 to 24)
4)Enter "*"
5)Press "STORE"
6)Press "PROGRAM"

and it's done...

I just found this, which had the process for programming a CO button as a one-touch. And it worked. It's a bit easier to follow than the panasonic manual so hopefully it will have an answer.

Sounds like you have re-programmed a soft key to do another function.

How many phone lines do you have? Did you have a button for each phone line or were you using a single button to access an available outside line?

Do you have the programming manual for your phone system? Not just a user guide for the phone??

On the Panasonic KX-T7433 how can I access stored messages once the message light goes out?

You would have to call the voicemail extension number - might be 500.

I have a KX-T7433 and would like to change the number of rings before it goes to voice mail. It is currently set at 4 rings and would like to change it to 6

The KX-T7433 isn't an answering machine. If the voicemails are going to an answering machine you have on the phone line, consult its manual. If the voicemails are going on to your telephone service provider's system, look for instructions in the phonebook, or contact the provider.

How do we make internal calls with Panasonic KX-T7433 handsets?

By default, Panasonic numbering is 101-164 and 201-264. The Intercom gives you dial tone and you dial the 3 digit extension number. Dial 0 should ring extension 101. Normal digital phones start at 101-116 on a TD816/1232 cabinet.

My key pad is locked for panasonic model no KX-T7433

Someone has probably activated the station lock. The attendant (usually extension 101) can lock it and the extension user can't unlock it, or the extension user can lock it and the attendant can unlock it when the extension user forgets the password.

Check out one of your programming or system manager's guide for instructions on how to unlock it. It's not a procedure that can be shared on open forum.

KX-T7433 - message light does not work

Assuming that the 74xx phone is connected to a Panasonic TD system, the only code is dialing 701 on the intercom, or pressing the MESSAGE button and dialing the 3 digit extension. You can't set your own MW, so you need to do it from another phone to your extension to test it. It also has to be the hardware number ie 101-116 or 132 and not Phantom numbers.

Your 74xx phone could be connected to a TDA or the numbering plan may have been changed, but those are obscure situations.
