Hi intial problem will probably be a faulty heating element locatated behind the panel at the back. the zbf260 has no clock but if its a zbf 360 set the clock before the oven will function. otherwise the fault has damaged another component on the oven. which can be in order of most likley.fuse if on 13a supply/ thermostat/ selectorswitch/ thermal cutout/jw

Many ovens have a bi-metal thermal fuse-also called a thermal limit switch-that protects the oven from overheating. The oven thermal fuse trips when the temperature in the oven gets too hot. After the thermal fuse trips, the oven won't heat. If the thermal fuse trips after the self-cleaning cycle, try resetting the fuse by turning off electricity to the oven, removing the exterior back panel, and pushing the reset button. If the fuse tripped during normal operation, replace it. If the problem persists, the electronic oven control board might require replacement. Reset the thermal fuse after replacing the control board.

The clock not working

We have a SMEG TRA 90P9 which has a dedicated circuit with a RCD swich. It will randomly trip with nothing on except the clock. Flick the RCD back on and it might stay on for a day or two. Begining to suspect the cooker. Any coments would be appreciated..

Electrolux EOU5330X Ultrafan Electric Double Oven -

Sounds to me like the lower element shorted and tripped the breaker as it burned out. If you're handy at electrical troubleshooting that's where I'd start - comparing ohmmeter readings between the bad element and the one that works.

A wire short to the chassis would have a similar set of symptoms and be easier to find and fix.

Beyond that, you need a service tech.

The oven trip switch was tripped last night. After I swirched the switch back on the oven won't work. The lights and the stove are both working and the gigital screen is working.

If you were using the oven at the time it is likely that a short circuit occurred in the element causing the circuit breaker to trip. After switching it back on the oven wont work. You probably need to replace the element.
The switch may have tripped for another reason. If it did when you turned the power back on the electronic clock/timer generally reverts to the auto. function. You need to set the clock/timer back to manual so that the oven will work.

Grill not working on a Bosch electric single oven HBN2850GB

Hi, most likely to be a faulty element. If the fan is working and there's no heat, definitly is the element. If it tripped the mains, have a good look inside with a torch and should be able to spot either a burn mark, a hole or a bend on the element.

No power and door locked after starting self cleaning cycle

Thermal fuse went out by door latch and thermal fuse on back of oven probably tripped too; once failed they need to be replaced. This is probably a job for the repairman as something caused fuse to go out in the first place; unless resolved it will recur. Please contact me if you need further help or leave feedback if appropriate as that is how I get paid. Thanks for letting me help you!

Smeg oven problem

The pop would usually mean a busted fuse. Turn off the oven, disconnect completely from the power supply and then take it apart. See if you can find any toasted fuse or roasted wires. Also the reason for tripping the mains off is due to the fact that the oven is draining more power than it should. I would recommend a thorough inspection of the oven by an electrician..

Wall Oven No Power

yes the oven thermal fuse blew when the fan went off its also called a tco switch if you pull out the oven and take the top off there will be a tech sheet there that will give the location of the tco some are on top some are on back this can also happen if the oven is too tight in the cabinet not enough room around it to let the heat dissipate its a round metal disc with two wires on it
