Every time i open my main dvd screen, nothing happens, I make sure it's plugged in correctly and that it's on, but nothing comes up on the screen, what can i do other than take it to a repair place?
I have a Proton PDV-768 dual portable DVD player. The main screen will not play, but the 2nd one does. On the underside of the main unit, there is a connection of some kind that does not go to anything. It is some kind of 4 pin connector, and is just there...I was wondering if that has anything to do with my problem.Any idea what that could be?

When i plugg the dvd player in nothing happens at all. I can hear the dvd turning like its suppose to but nothing is on the screen. I plugg in the monitor an the screen is blue. but there is no sound an no picture, its completely black. I tried to contact them but no answer. The player has only ever played once.
