Hey there. Your motherboard is most likely faulty and is causing shorts inside the keyboards and mouses. You should get a replacement from your retailer for the motherboard.

Have fun :)

Do i need to by a graphic card for my asus m4a78lt-m lx?

No, you do not need a video card because that motherboard has graphics integrated on the motherboard. The motherboard has the following video processor built-in:

Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 3000 GPU

Installed new Asus M4A78LT-MLE, when windows loads, finds new device drivers keeps locking up, and wireless or PS/2 mouse & keyboard frozen from boot so cant manuever open anything?

It sounds like you have upgraded from another board to the M4A78LT-MLE and you have not reinstalled windows. If this is the case then are going to have terrible troubles with drivers and lock ups. Believe me, reinstall windows a fresh then install your drivers then windows updates and all will be well. Oh by the way use the asus site for the latest drivers and not those on the disk that came with the motherboard.

Are necessary the driver for ASUS M4A78LT-MLE

Yes you must install all of the drivers for your mainboard, necessary drivers are Audio, Ethernet and Graphics drivers. Drivers enable those controllers to function.
The drivers can be found on the CD that came with your mainboard.

Take care!

The first link is an Asus site where you can get the most current drivers. The second site is AMD's site where I would go to download your drivers. The fact that you don't have any display is probably because of the way it's hooked to monitor or when you hooked it up or, if you changed the way it was hooked up. Try diconnecting monitor/lcd from back of computer and plugging back in, then restart. If that doesn't work, if you ever had a picture, see if you can do a system restore to when you did have a picture. If you get a picture, uninstall all software through Programs and Features. If you have Catalyst Control, do an Express uninstall to remove all hardware. For new hardware, go to second link(AMD drivers). In the top right corner there is a window"Download Drivers",
1 Componenet Catagory-click on arrow on right, scroll down and select "Motherboard/chipset and select
2 Product line-click on arrow, scroll down and select"Radeon 3xxxx series and select
3 Product Model-click on arrow and select"Radeon 3000 Series"
4 "Operating System" click on arrow and select your system.
Click on "Show Results". This will list your drivers. Click on first one to download. It will ask you for either "Express" or "Custom" install click on "Express". Finish download and restart.

Click here to view the list of supported processors for the ASUS M4A78LTM LE Mainboard.

The AMD AM3 Phenom 2 X4 965 3.4GHz is not supported as it is a 125Watt or 140Watt Processor.

The ASUS M4A78LTM LE Mainboard supports up and including a 95Watt Processor.

Therefore you either need to downgrade, purchase a Processor that is supported as shown in the list or purchase a Mainboard that supports your AMD AM3 Phenom 2 X4 965 3.4GHz Processor.

I myself would go for an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Mainboard, its a good companion for that monster of a Processor you have got.

See if you are able to return the Mainboard and purchase the ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3

There is also the cheaper ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO

Tell me how it goes!

All the Best!
