My frigidaire dishwasher's door will not lock in place. I can actually get it going, but since the door does not lock, it can easily open and spray out hot water, and the rinse cycle does not work properly because of this. I think the latch broke broke when the door was closed too forcefully. How do I replace this??? It is a built-in frigidaire precision series ultraquiet plus.

The steam has gotten into the keypad display and fried it. Call Fridgidaire and let them know you've seen numerous people on the internet with the same problem and that you need part# 154554401 It worked for me.

When a dishwasher has been checked for obstructions in the sump area and the spray arms can spin easily (by hand) plus the spray arm holes are not blocked, you end up with either a broken impeller or a failing wash pump motor.

All you'll have to do is take off the kick plate, actually remove the cords, and lubricate with soap (lower tech than spray silicon, but it's worked so far...)
