A person who i added as a friend asked me one time did i want him to hack me and get me to 15th perstige on black ops and i denied so he said these exact words im going to hack your account and sell your information for money

I'm sorry but you cannot hack on a PS3 version of the game. You mean mods and stuff? Yeah you'd need a gaming pc and the pc version. And also hacking can be considered illlegal.

Hacking is illegal in most countries. Asking for help by hacking and helping a hacker is also illegal.
I wish I could help, but I don't want to spend a day in prison for that.

You need to contact Xbox Live Support asap and let them know what happened. They will help you get the account back under your control.

When you call be sure you have

• Your gamertag
• Your password
• Your answer to your security question
• Your Xbox on and I front of you

When you get a hold of someone be sure to write down the reference number they give you.

Also, if there is a credit/debit card associated with the account be sure to watch for unwanted charges and let Xbox Live know if any arise. They'll most likely advise you to call your bank to hold the charges.

Once you get banned theres nothing you can really do except making a new account.

Sony released Firmware update 3.56 that bans anyone hacking/cheating on Black Ops.

Your friend did an illegal hack to the software which is cheating and of course in online play cheaters are automatically banned to keep the game fun for everyone.

The ONLY thing you can do at this point is to call Sony's gaming customer service (1-800-345-7669 then press 0 to get a live person) and (this part is important) very CALMLY explain to them what your friend did and explain you have no knowledge of these kinds of things and very POLITELY ask them if they could please help you get back online and let them know you will never let anyone install anything on your PS3.

Since you allowed the hack to be installed they do not have to let you back on so be very POLITE and CALM. If your account has never shown this type of activity before they should reinstate you.

if you are talking about the problematic black ops i heard deleting unnecessary friends helps because black ops tries to keep so much info about every person that it has trouble with connection (sorry i can't quote the site i heard this from off the top of my head but it seemed reliable enough)
