Hello, W/D here.
To remove your chuck, open the jaws of the chuck fully, but don't open them so tight that they lock in the open position. Remove the screw inside the chuck. Spray the inside of the chuck with penetrating oil. Tap around the edge of the chuck, while pulling it away from the motor.
It should come right off, with a little effort.
Best regards, --W/D--
What if there is no bolt, screw,or nut
It may be threaded.....Here's a good link that will further clarify for you.......Watch the video, and read the comments below the video.........

SOURCE: how do you remove a key chuck from a dewalt drill
first shift the drill to the drill only position and the gear selector to the low position, remove the chuck retaining screw LH thread, find a bent handle allen wrench about the chuck capacity and lock in the jaws of the chuck, put the chuck on a block of wood at about a 30 degree angle to hit the long portion counter clockwise and strike it with a hammer, it might take a couple hits but it will come off. I misread the header last time.
SOURCE: how to remove the chuck?
open the chuck fully and it shoudl have a screw inside. Unscrew it, but be carefull, these screws are usually reversed - to uncsrew, rotate it clockwise. Once done, put allen key into chuck (short side in), fasten the chuck to hold allen key well and hit the key with hammer - counterclockwise direction. You might want to verify this procedure with someone else as I have no experience with Dewalt, but this way it works for Makita, Metabo, Narex, ... then why not for Dewalt? Juraj
Remove the REVERSE-THREAD screw at the bottom of the chuck. Set the clutch collar to the highest setting, and set the gear to the slowest setting on the transmission. Remove the power source! Get the biggest allen wrench you can fit in the end of the chuck(the shortest leg) and tighten the chuck down around it, allowing the jaws to rest and tighten on the flats of the wrench. Lay the drill on its side(chuck toward you, handle to the left, and allen wrench to the left, horizontal to the deck. Then with a hammer(soft hammer if you care about the allen wrench) quickly and deliberately hit the allen wrench in an attempt to cause the allen wrench to spin counter clockwise. Let me know if this works for you!

To remove the chuck on your drill follow the instructions for the type of drill chuck you have: Instructions for removing a keyed chuck Most reversing drills have a left hand threaded screw located inside the bottom of the chuck. 1.) If the unit has this screw place the chuck key, with the chuck facing toward you, into one of the holes on the right side of the chuck. Strike the key in a clockwise direction with a wooden mallet or similar object. This will loosen the screw inside the chuck. 2.) Open chuck jaws fully. Insert screwdriver into the bottom of the chuck to engage screw head. Remove screw by turning clockwise this is a left-hand screw. 3.) With the chuck facing toward you place the key into one of the holes on the left side of the chuck. Using a wooden mallet or similar object, strike the key sharply in a counter-clockwise direction. This will loosen the chuck so that it may be unscrewed by hand. There is no way to stop the motor from turning. It may require several attempts to loosen the chuck Instructions for removing a keyless chuck Most reversing drills have a left hand threaded screw located inside the bottom of the chuck. 1.) If the unit has this screw open chuck jaws fully. Insert screwdriver into the bottom of the chuck to engage screw head. Remove screw by turning clockwise this is a left-hand screw. 2.) Insert the short end of a 1/4" or larger hex Allen wrench into the chuck and tighten. Facing the tool strike the long end of the hex wrench sharply counter clockwise as it is a standard right hand thread. This will loosen the chuck so that it may be unscrewed by hand. There is no way to stop the motor from turning. It may require several attempts to loosen the chuck Instructions for removing a torqued chuck 1.) Tighten the chuck around the shorter end of a hex key (not supplied) of 1/4" (6.4mm) or greater size. 2.) Using a soft hammer, strike key sharply in a counterclockwise direction (when viewed from the front of the tool). This will loosen the chuck so that it can be unscrewed by hand.
