Hi,
It is the inverter problem maybe it is loose or cold solder already. You better open the unit and look for the inverter section then re solder all leg parts there.

Have Hannspree 205 HF running Windows XP Pro. Display has shifted to the right, and I can't get it back to center. Any suggestions?

Turn the Hannspree-brand monitor on using its remote, then press "Menu."
Press and scroll the down arrow button to highlight "Setting." Press the right arrow button to enter the "Setting" menu.

Press and scroll the down arrow button to highlight "Aspect."

Press and scroll the right arrow button to change the aspect ratio from "Auto" to "Full," "Normal," Panorama" or "Zoom," depending on the type of image that you want to see on the screen.

Press "OK" on the remote control. Press "Menu" twice to exit the menu settings.
hope it helps

"Input signal out of range"

usually points to the resolution settings of the graphics card not matching the monitor resolution settings. Reboot to safe mode on the computer and set the resolution to a lower one. A good starting point would be 1280 x 960 at high res. See if that works

My less-than-a-year-old Hannspree monitor stopped working soon after I bought it. I had spoken with a tech earlier and they suggested it was the cable up to the CPU. It isn't. I am now working at a...

Try this... Unplug the monitor from every connection its connected to, including the power.
- Press and hold the power button on the monitor for a minute..
- Connect it back to a different PC with a different cable firmly. It should work.

Just connected a HF 225 monitor to Vista Home 32 bit. No real manual; install CD does nothing. When I press the Menu or Brightness buttons on the monitor I get no response to keyboard or mouse clicks to...

They only include the Win7 driver on the CD. I'm surprised it doesn't work with Vista. Did you try going into the HF225_win7 directory and clicking on infinstallWIN7?

The monitor menu doesn't work with the keyboard. You have to press a combination of the three buttons to the left of the on-off button. It's not very intuitive.

Recently purchased HF 205 monitor. Now I have a vertical yellow line running down the center of the screen and cant remove it ? any thoughts

You have failing T-CON board (part of the LCD panel assembly), it will get worst with more lines appearing.
You can try reseating the ribbon cabel on the T-CON board to see if it helps.

Hannspree HF229H will not stay on

railbird56, Common problem for ALL BRANDS of "cold-cahtode-fluorescent-lamp" back-lit lcd monitors! Here are your options!!! Cheapest to most costly!! 1. Warranty repair. 2 DIY repair???? 3. Local or distant repair. 4. possible old + cash swapout with Hannspree for refurbished same model?? 5. Trade-in for new wide screen. My best guess on your monitor (no history) is that the unit's SMPS is in partial or full shutdown mode during it's black screen moments. How much do you know about "electronic ballasts" "switch-mode-power-supplys" and how to repair them?? 12fixlouie

I have a Hannspree 25 lcd monitor and I can't get rid of the "input signal out of range" box in the middle of the screen

the monitor is not properly connected to the back of the PC box, check the cable that goes from the monitor to the PC box, (first unplug the PC/monitors from the power socket)
check if the cable is loose from the monitor jack point on the back of the PC box, remove it and blow air in it may be some dust is there.
fix it back and tighten the two screwes with a screw driver.
power it back ON
