I have a charged battery, a new gas cartridge and a full sleeve of the correct nails but the nailer does not want to shoot a nail when I press the trigger. What could it be?

Does it make sounds as if it's trying to shoot a nail, or is it just silent when you pull the trigger ?

Hi,

Here is a tip that I wrote about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up with them.

I also have a link to the Paslode manuals which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.

If you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

My pneumatic nailer

ok, so your nails are correct size gauge, and the right length too?? sometimes when shooting at 120psi into pine the nail is blown through the material. test it on something first something thinner that you can see if its working at all, or put in like 5 nails and see after you shoot if you still have 5 nails in the magazine.
if so make sure, nothing is obstructing the magazine chute to the driver, also make sure the nails are in the correct slot for them to be struck. keep me posted.

Have a nu power gas nail gun fully charged battery full gas cylinder but will not fire nail

Did you take the nails out a check the safety , where the nail comes out ? Sounds like a stick or stuck safety switch . Good Luck !!!!!!!!

Paslode nail guns won't shoot

piston is probably jammed

This happens sometimes try holding it up against a board with the trigger depressed and then inset the battery.

The goal is to try to force the firing sequence to get the piston back to the right position with corded units this is simply done by attaching the air hose with the trigger pulled this causes air to rush into the gun chamber pushing the piston back and firing a nail out.

The cause of this is a misfire or jammed nail that stopped the piston in the wrong location so air will not build in the chamber correctly.

Hope that helps

Paslode framing nailer intermittent firing

OK lets start from the top, gas full, but what is the expiration date, it is located on the bottom of the fuel cell and if out of date can cause a problem. Second when was the last time the tool was taken apart and completely cleaned and serviced with new orings and lube? Lastly look at the nails are they traveling thru the magazine freely? Let me know and I will try and help further

Hitachi Framing Gun Not Firing - Bad Battery?

Does the fan run and the light blink ont he nailer? I have one that I just bought. I put in the wrong type of nails and got one stuck. I had to take the front apart to clear it and now the damm thing wont fire. The green light blinks and the gas cartridge is basically full, even the fan does run after I release the push lever, but no fire???

I wonder if yours is the same as mine did fire for a couple nails first just fine then got jammed...

I will try to charge the battery more.... MAybe like yours it needs a strong charge for the spark...
