Margaritaville Frozen Concoction - Ice shaver has stopped turning

Ice shaver has stopped turning. Blender base and switches appear to work fine, only the shaver has stopped.

    I have the same problem with my DM2000 Fiji Margaritaville machine. I have disassembled the top half and have isolated the issue to a lack of ground to the motor. If I ground one of the brushes to the chassis the motor works! Anyone know where I can find a wire diagram? When I use the switches only a relay "click" is heard.

    My Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Ice shaver has stopped turning as well. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I've only used it a few times so don't know what could have happened.

On my machine (DM1000) there is a kill switch on the top & back of the ice reservoir. If that gets broken/misaligned the shaver will not activate.

There is no kill switch. There is a power on/off switch, which is the far left switch on the front panel.

My wife received a Williams Sonoma Margaritaville (Trio) Frozen Concoction Maker. We set it up, pushed the ON-OFF switch and heard a loud pop in the vicinity of the switch ( I would presume a blown fuse)....
IF IT DID NOT WORK AFTER THAT I SUGGEST YOU TAKE IT BACK. YOU EITHER HAVE A FAULTY SWITCH OR HAD A SURGE OF ELECTRICTY THAT BLEW IT.

My margaritaville shaves too much ice into the blender, so it doesn't mix.
When mine did that I just put in less ice the next time and I experimented to see how much liquid to add. Once I did the 2nd and 3rd batches of drinks I got the hang of it.

When making a full pitcher of drinks and you add extra ice and drink mix the blender will stop pulling the ice down so it can be blended. You have to manually remove the pitcher and take a spoon and stir...
Ice floats, if you want to add more ice pour almost all of it out into separate container, add ice to remaining mixture and blend.
