I have a Kenmore Elite model#110.16962500. The washer works perfectly with the exception that the spin cycle does not drain the water completely. My clothes remain soaking wet after the spin cycle is over. I'm a landlord and I have a little experience with washer (I've taking apart a couple washers). I took apart this washer and the water pump is to clogged. None of the hoses are clogged. Would you get me any ideas of what this would be?

We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.
Washer won't drain or spin
• Is the drain hose clogged, or the end of the drain hose
more than 96" (2.4 m) above the floor?
• Is your voltage low?
Check electrical source or call electrician. Do not use an
extension cord.
• Is the "SUD" routine active?
Cycle will complete once extra suds are removed.
• Is the load balanced?
A single or bulky item may cause imbalance. Add more items
or redistribute the load.
