Bosch Axxis WFL 2060 Front Load Washer Logo
Anonymous Posted on Feb 06, 2011

Just bought the Bosche Axxis front loader. When the spin cycle kicks in, the machine wobbles/shakes/wanders VIOLENTLY from side to side. Is it the installation or the machine?

I bought the Bosch 8Kg washing machine on 8th Feb, I had the same problem.

Read installation instructions, you need to remove transport safety nuts from the back.

Had the same problem, mine was a floor model so there were no installation instructions included. After finding them on the Bosch website, we removed the safety nuts and everything works perfectly!

Why is it that my LG machine shakes violently while it's rinsing? Is it supposed to be like that please?

Question 2 also edited for clarity, 'LG' not 'lg'.
No model details again.

Surely not during 'Rinse' cycle? That just adds water and gently tumbles to get the soap out and complete the washing by further agitating the clothes. You must mean during spinning and much depends on if it is a front loader, or a top loader. For both, machine not level front to back and left to right and / or not sitting firmly on all 4 feet.

Top loader, bulky load unevenly loaded.

Front loader, single bulky item causing an uneven load.

Bosche axxis washer spin cycle ticking noise

Assuming everything else is working normally, I would still suspect there is an object that is getting stuck between the rotating drum and the outer housing. Maybe not coins, but something longer, like a pocket comb or the wire inserts used in some garments. It is easy to take the top off of the unit, and this might help to isolate the noise better. Early spin is usually a bit unbalanced, so it is possible it could also be something really simple like a hose clamp that has sagged enough to be contacting something else, and it only shows up when the machine is bouncing a bit.

Front loading machine shakes violently during spin

Hi,
When my washer did that, I found that the shocks that hold the tub were bad...

Check out this tip I wrote about that...

Shakes violently during spin cycle from back to

I had this problem with my front loader as well. It is probably the mounts or "level shocks" on the bottom of the unit under the tub. I have a Kenmore by Frigidaire and had to replace the "level shocks". I only paid about $43.00 and was not that hard to put on. Look under your machine and see if the shocks are connected to the tub. Check under the top panel also to see if that particular model has mounts up there too.

Front loader shakes bad, is level, and on a concrete floor

You will have harmonic inbalance about 800 rpm on most front load machines, causing them to shake termporarily as it ramps up on the spin cycle. Be sure to check if the shipping bolts have been removed. This is the most common mistake most people make while installing front load machines. If you don't remove the shipping bolts, it will cause most machines to shake violently and can cause damage.

Samsung P801 Front Loader shakes violently during spin cycle.

When the washer goes into spin cycle it is suppost to start at a slow speed and continue to increase speed (to a maximum of 800 RPM) as the water leaves the clothes. Your washer is going directly to 800 RPM which causes the washer to shake and stop giving you the E4 code. The control board that controls this speed increase must be replaced.

Shook Violently first time on spin cycle

Make sure the washer is leveled properly and all four feet are resting on the floor. If it is level, try running one cysle without any clothes in it to see it is spins without that violent shaking.. you may have also had an out of balance load.. Hope that helps!
