SOURCE: i turn off the flash
That solution does not work on the T77.
I have the same problem and this is how I solved it.
Press the Menu button on the bottom left corner of the screen.
Go to the second page (2/3) select the "REC MODE" (it is the firrst choice)
Select your mode as normal and not burst and then exit the menu.
Now you should be able to activate the flash from the screen..
Hope it works for you as it did for me.
SOURCE: No Time/Date stamp on Sony DSC-T77
UGGHH I have the same problem with this camera.. I called Sony and found out that although there is a datestamp when you view the photo's on your camera they do not print off on the photo The very thick accented guy said that a lot of people did not like the function of datestamping SO THEY REMOVED IT I couldn't believe it but he told me that the only way to get the date on there is to add the date myself on EACH phott using the CD that came with my camera Soo now that my husband and I are back from Vegas I have 400 photos to datestamp?? wtf SOO not worth the $300 I paid for this camera.. what a rip!
SOURCE: Sony DSC T77 How to Setup Black and white mode
Hi Allonsoma,
What the manual doesn't tell you is that you need to change the REC mode first to be able to fint the buttons in MENU.
Fist go into the REC mode (the one above menu when taking a photo). Change this to PGM and click OK. Now go into MENU, on the 3/4 page second button down should be a box with a + in the corner. This is the colour mode option. You can now change to vivid, sepia or black and white.
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 system error message
C:32:01 is a "disk format error". It means that your memory card is most likely corrupted.
First, remove the memory card and visually check that the electrical contacts are bright, clean and not greasy. Do not touch the contacts with your bare skin, use a cotton bud moistened with alcohol or methylated spirits if they need cleaning. At the same time, check that the lock switch on the MemoryStick is fully unlocked. Slide it fully to locked and then fully back to unlocked.
If the contacts and lock switch are fine then you can try reformatting the MemoryStick using the "Format" command in the camera menu, do NOT do this on a pc/Mac or in an external card reader. If there is an option to "Full Format" or "Quick Format" choose the full option. Note that any stored images will be deleted, but if you have suitable data recovery software they can still be recovered afterwards as long as no new pictures are taken which overwrite the data.
If that fails then try another MemoryStick in your camera. If the fault remains then the camera is faulty and must either be sent to a Sony Service Centre or replaced. Your camera may still be under the manufacturer's warranty, if so repairs will be free.
I hope that I have been of some assistance; please take a moment to rate my answer.
