My father has a Jazzy 600 electric wheelchair and it has been working fine, batteries are only a few months old but all of a sudden it will not charge. Should not be able to move the chair while it is...

Sounds like the inhibit function of the chair has been damaged. This function will not let you move the chair while charging. If Dad doesn't have the charger off when plugging in to the chair or removing it it can short out the charger port causing your problem. Unfortunately the only fix is to replace the joystick/controller. If Medicare paid for Dad's chair then they will pay for most of the repair costs. Contact the provider that brought Dad's chair and ask if they can order a new joystick for you Hope this helps

87 volkswagon with the 2.0l timing issue

Your friend needs to rent a timing light from AutoZone. With luck, AutoZone will lend it free of charge as long as you leave a $$ deposit which will be returned in full when the timing light is returned.

Have AutoZone look up what the timing is.
Probably 8 degrees before top dead center.
(8 degrees BTDC).

The timing light is easy enough to use, or learn if first time.

All six lights blink on my Jet 3

I just had the same problem with my uncle's power chair. The number of "blinks" indicates a problem code to the technicians. My chair needed the joystick control assembly replaced. Once replaced, evrything was back to normal. 'Not a cheap fix but much needed. Good luck my friend!!
