How do i change the ink in my epson stylus sx215?

There might be something wrong with the printer already, can you not change the ink by opening the front cover? cli-8c

Hi joanmcd2, Just go to control panel and go to (printers for xp)/(device and printers win 7) open the properties of the driver and goto Maintenance tab and then click the EPSON Status Monitor button, you will see the ink levels and there will be an option to replace the ink.

- try to repeat a remove and replace all cartridge. with the careful and pass.
- if it does not changed, try to reinstall driver,s

its because the ink housing will only aline when the ink is empty its not like any other printer that you can line the housing up. Wait until you run out of ink then lift up the lid and the housing will be alined - its stupid system and epson dont tell you this when you buy the produc

Start-control panel-printers-right click on Epson-printing preferences-maintenance-ink replacement

Hi Switch on the printer give a print job and open the panel the head comes to the centre and then you can remove.
