This sounds like a software issue.
You should first try backing up your phone using the PC studio, once done, you should master reset the handset. If this does not resolve, use the LG software to update the phone software to resolve. Thanks

Have you check the settings yet, if this problem can be solve in settings then it will be solved but if settings of sound is ok, but problem still occurs then there is a problem with phone itself.

You should be able to access the controls in the menu. Go to:

• menu
• sounds
• settings
• sound settings
• ringer volume

I contacted LG about the same thing. The only message tones are the 4 that are on the phone. This phone cannot use mp3's as message tones ot alarm tones.

Try restore factory settings.Menu/settings/initial setup/restore factory settings enter 1234 ok.
should be ok.

By default, I believe the current snooze is 5mins. Unless you hack into the phone, there's no way to change.

When creating a new alarm, the LG Shine will start with the "Set Time" function where you can set a 15 minutes alarm jump (by moving the navigation button horizontally). If not desired, you can go one step down onscreen to set the alarm time manually. If you accidentally jump back to the 15 minutes jump method in the previous function, it will automatically postpone the alarmsetting with 15 minutes increments again. Please verify you don't use that function by accident while setting up the alarm time manually. If all of this is not the case, I would suggest to return the phone because there could be a problem with the phone or software.

It is not possible to sound alarm in vibrate mode, but by going into master volume and setting it to sound alarm only, the alarm sounds in silent mode.
