My yahoo messenger was disabled, i want to install it again

First, uninstall your Yahoo Messenger:

1. Quit Yahoo! Messenger for Mac.
2. Click the Finder icon on the Dock, then select Applications.
3. Drag the Yahoo! Messenger application to the Trash.
4. From the Finder window, select Home.
5. Open the Library folder ' open the Caches folder.
6. Drag the Yahoo! Messenger folder to the Trash.
7. Click the Back button to go back to Library.
8. Open the Preferences folder.
9. Find the files that start with com.yahoo.messenger ' drag them to the Trash.

Note: If you can't find these files in the "Preferences" folder, look for a folder called com.yahoo.messenger3 and drag it to the Trash.

try to install a newer version Windows Installer , allow the yahoo installer on your firewall or temporarily disable your security features and try to install yahoo messenger again.

The issue lies in the Firewall settings. The Windows Firewall has blocked the Application from connecting to Web Servers. You must have to unblock it to get the problem resolved. If you have a Anti-Virus Firewall, reconfigure it, this will erase the Firewall's rules and will ask again that do you want the application from connecting to internet. You allow it and then it can download.

well the problem may be with the firewall u setup.try to disable the firewall and then install it

If you have more then one messenger you need to make sure that you are completely signed out and have them shut down before you try to install another one or it will not install successfully
