Who installed it? Did it have the Propane Conversion Kit fitted? Orange flame is too much gas and not enough air, and sound like you have the wrong jets. It should have been fitted and adjusted by a registered gas installer.
This may be of some help
in most gas ovens you need to establish the pilot flame first before it allows gas through to the main oven thermostat,
The pilot can be part of the main burner /low flame that heats a sensor that is set to be heated by the pilot flame and as long as it stays red/hot it will hold gas on (flame proving device) and allow gas through to main flame. if you look at the main burner you should see the sensor its got a white porcelain base and the sensor is steel looks like a bent nail that hangs over burner.
make sure its in the correct position leaning into the flame.
otherwise call a registered gas oven repair man good luck
Hello Carlos - Does you range have an LP conversion kit installed? If so, I would recommend verifying that unit is set to appropriate fuel and fuel conversion kit is finished. Also trying adjusting the pressure regulator and/or air shutter.
I have a delongi oven and hob hob is working fine but the oven isnot im turning the nob on the front of the oven and ignition on lighting is fine after I release the knob on the front the supply turns striaght off no flame no gas nothing
In general lets be clear. The OVEN pilot is located under the oven door at the top of the Broiler. It is a small piece of metal just before the GAS safety Valve which acts on temperature so gas won't flow unless Pilot is lit,That's the OVEN PILOT.The stove's RANGE is the top burners where you heat Pots and Pans.It has either 2 Pilot lights that connect the burners to the Flame they are under the Range Top.Newer Models use electronic ignitions no flame. Please note if you had your stove/oven disconected or Gas off when you turn it back on there will be air in the line that needs to escape before you light. This is why in NYC when Utility Co.works on steet main the MUST re-light your appliances.Be Careful with Gas.Good Luck.
all gas range ovens have a small metal box in the back upper area of the broiler burner; a gas line runs into this box as do two wires; this is a "flame control " gas valve; the way it works is: after the pilot has been lit as you turn the oven temp control a heating element in the box causes a small valve to open allowing a larger amount of gas into the oven burner to ignite the whole burner If you can only get pilot flame on high replace this valve
On top of that safety valve is a nut. Get a good fitting wrench. Turn on the oven and use that good fitting wrench on that nut. Turn it counterclockwise till the flame comes up about midways of the flame spreader. Don't get the flames too high. Midways of the spreader now. LOL
Pull the bottom of the oven off. You will see 2 to 4 screws that hold the panel on. The ignitor is under there. Look at the ignitor carefully for breaks. I say carefully as the ignitor is very easy to break.
