I bought it off a guy 4 months back. It was working when I bought it but havent used it since. the other day i got it out but it just wouldnt work. Desperate need of help!
We had a Breville juicer which we just recently used but after a few hours it stopped working. May I know if whats the problem with it. We tried to open it but we can't figure what cause the machine to stop.
We have just had this problem with our juicer (a present last Christmas), checked the fuse etc but the fault appears to be a small piece of plastic on one of the side clips which fits into a hole under the clip, depressing a switch inside the machine and allowing power to go through to the mechanism - it's clearly a safety device to prevent the machine operating unless everything is properly assembled, but has been made of such fragile plastic that it has sheared off. Looks too flimsy to superglue, the alternative would be to operate the juicer with something else pushed manually into the hole - not entirely the safest idea... Does anyone know if Breville can supply a replacement clip?
There is a small sensor that has two black wires connected to it that puts the ground wire togeather this is activated by this sensor and what happens is this little plastic peice get broken easly so what you do its cut the two black wires and splice them togeather for-going the sensor and you should be back in business.
