Round grey dot appears in photos and on LCD screen

The LCD panel appears to have gone bad.

1) this is indicative the lcd camera has been faulty.
2) you must replace it.
3) contact your company supplier, and get the parts, you can do it yourself, only need small screwdrivers and common sense.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

If 1/3 of the screen is grey, this is an indication that the LCD display is defective and needs to be replaced. This can happen if the unit has been dropped.

Had the same problem with my SD10. The switch in the AV port sometimes gets dirty or corroded, and tricks the camera into thinking that an AV plug is inserted. This will turn off the screen.

To fix it, repeatedly insert and remove an AV cable into the port several times. This may help break off any corrosion or dirt that may be holding this switch open.

Check with the Software of the mobile,try to reinstall the software in mobile,not solved show the LCD Screen from authorize service center.

Indeed offered solution is most likely correct. However I can suggest you to ensure if dots/lines appear even before windows screen comes. If yes thats the conclusion that your LCD Module has dead pixels or internal connectors has connectivity issue. Consult a local Hands on technician. LCD module might be costly you can always use an external monitor with your laptop.
