When I bought my VW Caddy the standard radio had been replaced with an aftermarket one. I have got a new VW radio but the wiring has been butchered. Where do I get a new harness?

You can buy an aftermarket radio harness adapter for your Navigator from ebay quite cheaply. I would not recommend butchering the factory wiring to install a replacement head unit. I found this one (will work as long as your Lincoln wasn't fitted with SATNAV) - Lincoln Radio WIRE HARNESS INSTALL STEREO PLUG 2003 09 eBay
you can buy an adapter the plugs into the factory wiring and the new radio so you don`t cut and butcher the wiring of the car. it covers the wiring for the speakers as well. going by your photo this looks like a bad wiring and splice job.
Hi, please check to see if your colors match the ones below. If yes, then connect them to the aftermarket colors shown next. Assuming your factory installation has only four speakers, there should not be a lot of wires left over.

Hi, Pull/take off the outer bevel edging, pull at each side in the side area so you dont snap it. then get 4 mini screw drivers, if you don't have a stereo removing tool, put one in each of the 4 holes and then hold them all at once and push outwards to push the springs inwards, then pull forward with a bit of strength and it should come with you.... enjoy
hi
normally nissan use a 1 or 2 plug loom, as long as noboby has butchered it to fit aftermarket radio, shouldny have a problem getting a loom. try daltac.co.uk.
hope this helps
sounds like its wired up wrong, remove the radio unplug the connector and remove the radio, then check all your fuses must have blown one when radio was installed, after that charge battery and with radio removed see if battery goes dead, if not recheck wiring to radio, common problem with vw aftermarket radio, they are installed wrong, good luck,
Try radio shack, or stereo sales/installation place for ready to go plug adapter. For a few bucks, it saves headaches, and butchering the wiring in case you want to re-install old one later when trading in or selling the car.
