2003 chevy blazer heat won't blow on floor

Transfer case switch may be bad allowing trans fluid in vac. Lines and can reach as far as heater switch common problem fix these all the time 17 bucks for tranfer case switch and 20 foot of vacume hose and replace all the vac. Hose because this issue causes pcv to not work correctly so the moisture from crank case ends up going out the distributor vents causing cap and rotor corrosion there is service bulletin to remove distributor vent screens i would fix that since you will be working next to it any way

A/c and heater air blows only in windshield vent

That means you lost your engine vacuum source and defroster mode is the default position. Check for the vac. line coming off engine to the firewall under hood if that vac line isn't damaged or leaking, check under dash allthe way up to the vacuum selector switch for the HVAC if you have good engine vac at siwcth around 17-18 inches of vacuum. Then it must be a faulty switch assembly.

1986 buick lasabre heater fan workes, but no heat at all

could be a vacuum switch on the heater hose. The heater hoses are the small hoses ( 1inch, usually black or red) that run from the motor to the inside of the car. They should be warm when the car is up to temperature.

The vac switch controls the water flow to the heater core. If the vac valve is bad or the vac line that feeds it is bad it will not allow water to enter the heater core.

Could be a plugged heater core too.

Check the water level in the radiator as well. If the engine is low on water often the first to go is the heater.
