NEED detailed instructions on how to set up voicemail box

This phone system has two features.

Answerphone system which records messages to the unit.
and
Voice Mail System which is an extended (often paid) service from your telephone provider.

Sometimes a glitch at the Telcom will remove your Voice Mail. You will need to phone their customer service number and ask why they stopped the service you previously enjoyed? They will be able to put it back in place.

Retrieve voicemail from telephone service Voicemail is a feature available from most telephone service providers. It may be included with your telephone service, or may be optional. Fees may apply.

Retrieve voicemail When you received a voicemail, the handset displays New voicemail and . To retrieve, you typically dial an access number provided by your telephone service provider, and then enter a security code. Contact your telephone service provider for instructions on how to configure the voicemail settings and listen to messages. NOTE After you have listened to all new voicemail messages, the indicators on the handset turn off automatically.

Set your voicemail number You can save your access number on each handset for easy access to your voicemail. After you saved the voicemail number, you can press and hold to retrieve voicemail. Press MENU when the handset is not in use. Press or to choose Settings, and then press SELECT. Press or to choose Voicemail #, and then press SELECT. Use the dialing keys to enter the voicemail number (up to 30 digits). Press SELECT to save. You hear a confirmation tone. • 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 33

Turn off the new voicemail indicators If you have retrieved your voicemail while away from home, and the handset still displays the new voicemail indicators, use this feature to turn off the indicators. NOTE This feature turns off the indicators only, it does not delete your voicemail messages. Press MENU when the handset is not in use. Press or to choose Settings, and then press SELECT. Press or to choose Clr voicemail, and then press SELECT. You hear a confirmation tone.

You should be able to find the manual online if you do a google search for LG xxxxx (the x's being the model number).

From the Supervisor menu you can record greetings for all boxes. Check & listen to messages for all boxes. Change options & password for all boxes.

To Access Supervisor Options:

-Access your voicemail box

-From main menu, press 6 for Supervisor Menu

At this point, voice mail will walk you through changing what ever you need to change or check. **See the Supervisor Guide for more detailed information & instructions**

If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Hold 1 and see if it dials your voice-mail for you. and use the last four of your number for the password or the last four of your social.

Do you have voicemail or an answering machine? This is usually a sign that another device (fax, answering machine or voicemail service) is set to answer the call after 4 rings. You will need to lengthen to number of rings before the service/device in question picks up. (The method to reset this will depend on the service/device that is picking up.) Another possibility is a call forwarding service that is enabled at 4 rings.

I hope this helps. Please write back with details on the device that could be picking up for details on setting the number of rings. If you have voicemail or call forwarding, check with your telephone service provider to lengthen the number of rings before the service kicks in. (There are too many for me to know all of the providers instructions.)

Prior to establshing a mail box, the phone has be familiarised preferable from the user guide. usually the mails box requires for multimedia phones, a recorded voice of the owner also achievable by navigatimng the device system setting to locate an dactivarte personalmail settings. Ascertain details from the user guide that has illustrartions. Also, the is capable of provide navigational instructions of arriving at mail box area to establsih person details. Locate the phone menu settings buttons to explroe the features.

If people are able to call your voicemail try calling your own number pressing star and entering your password if people are not able to setup voicemail call your carrier and make sure they show that voicemail is added

If you are getting the "voicemail does not exist message" this means that the voicemail feature is not on your account. Unfortunately you will have to contact your service provider and ask them to add the voicemail feature back onto you account. Have them test and make sure that you can access the voicemail before they end the call to ensure they have fixed the problem. Hope this helped.

Go back to your vendor and get the password for mailbox 999 and the instructions to log into it.

The mailbox exists or it wouldn't ask for a password (they're assigned by default), so you need to go to mailbox 999 and chose option 6 1 3 which is mailbox administration reset password. That will clear the password and you can log into the voice mail automatically from the extension by dialing the voice mail access code.
