You have bad Capacitors on the power inverter section; These 1000 uF 10V& 470uF 16V Caps will function half blown. As soon as they warm up the Cap either opens or shorts and takes down the power inverter. The venting on this monitor is very poor; To verify take a fan and place it behind the monitor, then try it again. If the monitor runs longer you have verified your problem. TCC

Monitor goes blank after 3 seconds -Samsung SyncMaster 920NW

Could be a power issue. If it doesn't show anything at all then that may be the case. It may also be the display itself. It would be a costly repair so you might be better off finding a new monitor.

My samsung monitor syncmaster 743nx is not turning on..plss help me...tnx

How to troubleshoot a Samsung SyncMaster 743NX LCD Monitor? My Samsung SyncMaster 743NX monitor turns on slowly. I mean, last week when I started up my pc,it took 5-10 mins before my monitor displayed anything. I know the pc is already turned on because I've already heard the Windows Vista start up tune play. The problem is now getting worse as it now takes 20-30 mins before my monitor displays anything. Please help.
