I own a LG XCanvas PDP HDtv. I bought it in Korea and it's a Korean (power source) model. I want to ship it to America and use it there. Is this possible and safe for the t.v. and my home? Is it worth the cost or should I sell it before leaving Korea? Thanks!

Sell it before u leave Korea,tv from Asia used PAL signal frequencies.US tv used NTSC signal frequencies, not compatible.Tv PAL to NTSC signal frequencies, will not work.PAL and NTSC signal frequencies can't be mix.

Write the words from the TV on apiece of paper, then go to Korean to English dictionary to translate the words so you can change it. It's a pain, but better than trying to learn Korean.
You need to reach the Option menu, and to set the language. You will have to do this working on the Korean menu. I hope that the pictures below may help:
Press MENU button on remote, and go to OPTION menu, which is the one with a tag picture, right on top of the padlock pic.
Use the arrow buttons to select language. use arrow right to confirm and up and down to select.
Different wattage in Korea as to where you took the TV from is my guess. Probably won't run on the korean electricity supply, either too weak or too strong, if too strong you blew your TV.
Hi There, Unfortunately for you, it seems that whilst Attempting to use the Higher voltage power supply on a Korean machine you could have damaged some of the internal electronics within the system itself, The fuses may not have stopped all of the current reaching the Inside of the Ps3, this could mean that you would have to potentially replace your console, Unfortunately Sony won't be able to solve your issues for some reason as you Purchased the PS3 in Korea, ive helped other people purchasing their PS3's from the far east (Korea,Japan etc) and when using their home power supply which can be upto Double the voltage of the PS3s, its frazzled the wiring inside of the console.
you should still try to call sony customer support, see if they have had a change of heart and decide to help people who have purchased imported consoles only to break them due to the voltages going through them, if not then im afraid you may need to replace your console !
