Try it on another computer or try to format it. If it continues to give that message then you need to get it replaced at the reseller or with Kingston.
Try to right click your pen drive then copy and paste it on your My Documents folder. When done, follow these steps: 1. Go to start menu 2. Click Run and type cmd ==A command prompt shows.== 3. Type cd\ 4. Type format x: 5. Press Enter key 6. When done type exit
Note: Copy all the files you have transferred on your My Documents folder and paste files again to your pen drive. You can now do whatever you want on your pen drive.
Did you read the emanual that is on the Kindston's website for the DataTraveller? It logs you off of the normal drive partition and in to the password protected partition.
Both exist on the same pen drive but can not be accessed at the same time. Try logging off using the same program or if there's such a logoff shortcut anywhere on the pendrive, yo should be back to the normal 2GB partition.
