First thing I want to say that nokia 7310 has s40 operating system, which not support any virus file, hence there is no any virus in your mobile.
for Format(Reset) the mobile enter the code *#7780# it will ask for security code, enter your mobile's security code(Default nokia security code is 12345), now your mobile reset. it is done.

You need to simply restore your phone. Try 12345 it is the standard code

type this simply and confirm your security code. And your nokia 6300 is Like new again.
yes you can soft format [factory reset] your phone by pressing *7730# and entering your security code[default 12345] or weather you want to HARD FORMAT, switch off your mobile phone 1st, then press and hold 3 keys at a time star key, green dial key, and no. 3 key. then switch on your phone. do not unhold all three key's until nokia's logo come's [hand shake] . it's done. you have to select your city. mean's your phone is virus free now. [get backup of your contacts and messeges before formatting or you will lose your data]
it is not a virus i think it is because of the new version of sowtware.but if you want to format:press 3,yes or green button and * togheter then press the power button until it starts and again those 3 tasks
