Using device manager uninstall, reboot and reinstall the wi fi chip. If this does not work you are in deep doo doo because the chip is fubar. I had the same issue with a Toshiba laptop but I returned it since it was a few days old. The chip is soldered to mo bo and unless you have real special tools and skills it cannot be removed.

Be sure you haven't turned the wireless adapter off by accident. Look for a small slide switch on the edge of the case or on the flat surface where the keyboard is.
