Hi sir, i am using nokia 5230. Today i changed my sim by airtel but when i placed new sim of airtel but it shows no network coverage. After many tried like search of network automatically or mannually and several restart i found no network. But when i placed my old sim of idea it shows network.

No point contacting contacting airtel customer care, because your SIM card is working perfectly on different phone so I'd suggest you to reset your mobile phone once, that can fix the problem for you. If the issue is same, take your mobile phone to nearest Nokia service center.

hi if your mobile shows sim not valid it is locked with the particular network .you can sue codes to remove the lock in your mobile .you can get the codes from this site simpleunlocking here to unlock your nokia 5230 mobile .here they ask the imei number of the mobile .finally they will send you the codes to unlock your mobile.once your mobile is unlocked then it will be free to all network sim.

MAY BE NETWORK PROVIDER HAS BLOCKED UR SIM CONTACT THEM....
