I'm using the dulce gusto for the first time rinsing the machine as per instructions but no water is coming through filter.

Hi there I have a similar problem, when I turning on my krups fontana a weak noise coming from the machine and no water flow.Machine was`t on for 6-7 months. It sounds like a clogged water pump. Any idea how to clean it?

    Hi there is a small needle on the top of the machine where the pod is inserted, enough if you clean that and the problem will be sorted. There is a nice instroction on yhe Youtube. I follow the instructions and at the end success.

use a solution of Bicarbonate of soda to clean scale from delivery pipe 1 tsp in 200ml

I am not sure of your particular machine yet I have repaired several other espresso machines and the majority of the times it is do to a clogged filter (usually a small metal perforated disk) Check to assure it is fully cleaned, for very difficult clogs soak or you can use a safety pin to clear the more difficult holes. Good Luck.

This is normal you have an air lock all most all new machens do that fill the water tank and only run water fro the cold side don't use the hot run water for 5seconds at a time it should the job

Have you used the pin to clean the needle? It is located behind the water container. It may also then need a coffee machine cleaner to be run through it. Don't use cleaners for dishwashers or washing machines, as these don't look after the internal seals so we'll.

My brand new nescafe dolce gusto does not work. there is no water coming out.
If you're getting a "no water" error message then you need to "prime" the machine by either:

1. Fulling the tank with water and leave it in the machine for 2 hours at least.
2. Re-seat the water tank about 70-80 times to get the bubbles out and the water flowing.
