I have samsung galaxy gt-i5510. is there any setting required for using airtel 3g service on it. i have already activated the package from airtel

Method 1:
1 - Switch ON your Samsung Galaxy Discover with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung Galaxy Discover will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

OR (if the Samsung Galaxy Discover shows "Insert Correct SIM Card")

Method 2:
1 - Switch ON your Samsung Galaxy Discover with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung Galaxy Discover.
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

Settings > More Setting > Network Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > WCDMA Only or WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)

WCDMA Only is is you only want to use 3G.
If you want that your phone should switch between 2G and 3G mode automatically, use auto connect option.

For this, your SIM Must support 3G services.

Go to 'Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks' and make sure 'Use packet data' is checked. Then tap 'Access point names', and make sure your carrier's data plan name is already shown there. Otherwise, i.e. if there is no data plan shown at all, tap 'Menu > New APN', and fill in the required data: Name: AIRCEL; APN: aircelgprs; Username: [blank]; Password: [blank]. Then, press 'Menu > Save', press the back button as many times as you want to take you to where you were prior you started changing these settings.

Did you already set the GPRS and MMS settings of your phone i think that your'e MMS and GPRS setting is isn't yet configured...I can't send you the procedure on how to configure it cause I don't know what service are you using..

Steps :
1. Goto the Main Menu | Select DATA ACCOUNT | GPRS | EDIT
ANY EXISTING ACCOUNT


2. Account Name ==> Dark Core
APN ==> airtelgprs.com
Auth. Type ==> Normal


3. Save the Settings


4. Come back to SERVICES | WAP | SETTINGS | EDIT PROFILE | EDIT ANY EXISTING ACCOUNT
Rename Profile => Mobile Office
Homepage => wap.google.com
Data Account => Dark Core (which we created previously)
Connection Type =>


Here u find three option
a) Connection-oriented
b) Connectionless
c) HTTP


Choose ==>



a) Connection-oriented
IP Address ==> 202.056.231.117
Security ==> Off
Again save all the settings and click BACK button and choose

“Activate Profile”
Come back to SERVICES | WAP | Homepage
So, now you are ready to use Airtel Office..!!

Im using china Blutooth y690 & have airtel sim but it does'nt accept the settings of airtel live pls tell me how to configure settings mannually the phone has two menus i.e. wap profile & data setting
