My Fujistu AST9LSACW split system air-conditioner wont blow cool air. the outside unit AOT9LSAC doesnt seem to be working at all. The power light stays on but the timer light flashed about 15-20 times a minute. please help...

There are two things you can check outside before calling a service technician. The first is the breaker to the outside unit. There is a breaker or disconnect near the unit. If there is nothing wrong with the electrical supply, check the refrigerant level. If the level is low, the pressure switch will cut off power to the compressor to protect it from damage. DO NOT try to recharge the compressor yourself.

Check and make sure the outside fan is running. The KSR series Kelvinators were rebadged LG units. It is possible the 6uf fan capacitor on the outside unit has failed.

If this is a conventional split system, check for power at the contactor, and secure the power and check the run capacitor

Check the outdoor unit to ensure power is available to it, and the contactor is closing on a call for cool 24-28 volt is present at the contactor coil to activate it.

doesnt sound like a gas problem. theres a vavle they opens and closes inside the unit that might be playing up either the vavle or the indoor pc board. did it ever cool ? might also be the vavle on the outside unit were not open with the alan keys so theres no gas going to them .
