My father in law brought my son a DS from China when working there and it came with hundreds of games. My cousin loaded the games to cd's and showed me how to transfer the games to the DS memory card. We loaded some on the memory card months ago and they've been working fine but I have just loaded him some different games onto the Micro SD 2GB card and put it back into the DS but all I am getting is a stupid little icon on the top screen. It is in red like a memory card with a face on it and "MENU?" underneath. The bottom touch screen is blank. Please help. I have followed all the instructions as I did before but this time it just doesn't want to work. What does the icon mean?
Thanks for any help/advice
Helen
Could you please tell me the model of this DS card, then I would probably be able to suggest how to reinstall it. What may happen - when you was adding more .nds files either file structure of SD card got corrupted or system folder on SD card was overwritten or moved.
If I would know the model of card - I would suggest you the link with software you need to copy on freshly formattted micro SD card before copying any games.

Konstantin

put the sd micro card into your computer with a USB reader and open to read the files, then click on games and see what games are loaded. You can download ds lite games from the internet and use drag and drop to load the load the games onto the sd card.
perhaps should be a problem with the Ds power supply with overvolt...try to change and test it with another Ds power supply... You said that the ds system is melted...If I were you I would open the Ds to search for damaged parts and try to restore it...or you can buy parts on ebay: http://www.diytrade.com/china/4/products/3354703/PSP_2001_Slim_Sharp_Original_Screen_Brand_NEW.html
Good Luck !!!
ok so the games work on your daughters and not on your sons? umm with your sons DS (u dont have to if you dont want to) take the back off and there is a 80% chance there will be a ribbon cable loose or even taken out
