Sorry it took so long to get back to you with a solution to your problem. You must try to reset the microprocessor in the Clock/Radio. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source. Then remove the Internal battery(CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio set without a power source for about 3 hours. This will discharge the microprocessor and reset it. After you have discharged the microprocessor, you can reinstall the internal battery. Connect the Clock/Radio to the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio's Functions should have returned to normal function. If the Clock/Radio did not return to normal function, you must replace the internal battery and again let the microprocessor discharge. After the microprocessor has discharged, put in the new internal battery and reconnect the Clock/Radio to the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio should have returned to normal function. If you are still having problem with the functions of the Clock/Radio, You will have to call Emerson Customer Support. The telephone number for the Emerson customer support is 1-800-909-1240. you can call them between the hours of 8am-4:30pm CT. Give them the make and model number of the Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance. I hope this information help you with your problems with the Clock/Radio. Thank you for using FixYa and have a nice day!

1995 chev locked after removing battery. radio is also a cassette

This is the anti-theft for your radio, normally this is something the dealer needs to enter a code to clear this for you (however they will charge you approx $45).
Here is something you can try...
Press & hold the 2 & 3 buttons @ the same time for about 10 seconds; a 2 or 3 digit code will appear, write this # down, press & hold the am/fm button for about 10 seconds: another code will appear, write this # down, then call 1-800-537-5140 and enter 202108 followed by the # key, then enter the #'s that you wrote down from your radio followed by the * key. The call will give you a 3 or 4 digit override code. Write this code # down so you have it if you ever need it again. Enter this # into your radio following the instructions in your owners manual. If you get an override code that starts with 0, you drop the 0 when entering the code into your radio.
If you don't have an owners manual, try this, press & hold the hour button until the first 2 digits of your code come up, then press & hold the minute button until the last 2 digits show. Then press the am/fm button. This should reset your stereo. It did mine.
Hope you find this helpful.

Grundig s350, installed new batteries and radio keeps shutting off by itself

When you press the Power/Sleep button the radio turns on and displays a number 90, or some other numbers. This is the play time that the radio will stay on then turns itself off. It could be that yours is configured with a sleep timer set to 01 minute, 10 or 15. You need to set the timer for a longer period. Thus we turn it on by pressing the Power/Sleep button, read the timer length then press again. Keep making short presses: The timer will cycle through all preset sleep timer durations. Select the length you want.

How to reset brake light after changing pads.

Hi Peters6709,
Sorry to tell you, but you need to replace the pad-wear sensors as well. They are the little trapezoid pieces that hang inside the tops of the inside pads. They should run about $10 each. Once replaced, disconnect the battery completely for about 10 minutes, if you have a stock radio keep the code handy.

Next time check the pads every 10-12K miles. I have been running the SAME pad wear sensors on my Z3 for the past 2 pad changes now after making the same mistake the first time.

Best of luck!

Radio controlled clock not working

Pretty simple: Press reset. Clock should reset within 10 minutes.
Manually set by pressing Set and holding for 5 seconds. The hands will turn. Release when they get to the correct time.

Mine quit working after a year and seems to be dead. The movement won't do anything now with a new battery.

Emerson clock radio cks 3516 military time

You will need to try some combination of the set button and time button to change the time back to normal time. Try hold both the time and set button for a period of 5-10 seconds and see if this will cycle the time to normal. If not try hold the set button alone for 5-10 seconds and see if this works. If not try holding the time time button for 5-10 seconds and see if that works. If none of the fixes work. Call Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020 between the hours of 9am-5pm CT. Tell them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance with your problem of resetting the time back to normal from military time. They will be able to help you. I hope this information helps you solve your problem.

Emerson Model No. CKS 3020

Sorry it took so long to reply to your problem. You must try to reset the Clock/Radio's microprocessor. To do this you must disconnect the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source and remove the internal battery. Let the Clock/Radio set without any power source for about 3 hours. This should completely drain all the power from the microprocessor. After this is done, reinsert the internal battery and plug the Clock/Radio into the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio's functions should return to normal. If they do not return to normal. Unplug the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source and remove the internal battery. Replace the internal Battery (CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio again drain all the power from the microprocessor. Insert the new battery and Plug the Clock/Radio into the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio's functions should return to normal. If you should still be having problem with the functions of the Clock/Radio, you will need to call Emerson Customer Support.
