If you had a dimmer switch in conjunction with the fan you probably did burn it up. You have to have motor controls that are compatible. It does take a few days to burn it up. More details please.
the motors stick ( freeze ) i have heard that disconect the battery for an hour helps with this, and you may need to reprogram everything after..
Open the boot lid and drivers door, and switch on the ignition. Rock the
valet switch, in the centre console, 5 times. The system will chirp to
indicate it has entered learning mode.
On models with seat/mirror/steering wheel memory functions, the first
remote will be linked to memory 1, second to memory 2 etc.
Press the larger, lock, button of the remote. The system will chirp to
confirm it has got the signal. If it doesn't receive any signals for 15
seconds, it will chirp twice and exit learn mode.
To programme further remotes, rock the valet switch once. The system
will chirp twice for remote number two, three times for number three
etc, then press the lock button of the remote as above.
When finish, wait 15 seconds for the system to time out and chirp twice,
turn off the ignition, close the doors and boot lid and the job is
done!
You must 'reset' the remote. I've had it happen quite a few times. 1. Turn off power to fan. Then back on. 2. Using remote cycle the following fan buttons from high to med to low, then from low to med to high again. That 'should' fix the problem.
check the fuses then look at the door remote switch in the driver door if there is power going to them then the switches need to be replaced/please rate my response thank you very much
My guess is that a neighbor close by, got a similar fan. This is common I understand. Other than that.....I can not think of a single thing! I say that even after 30+ years of working with electrical, and electronics.
Ok I just dealt with the Sharp customer support for this problem.
1) You need to unplug the TV for 1 full minute and remove the batteries from your remote aswell (this will reset the system) 2) Hold the power button on the remote for 30 seconds with the batteries still out of the remote and the TV still unplugged 3) After the 30 seconds replace batteries then press every button on the remote beginning with the power button in order from left to right and top to bottom (same way you read) 4) Then plug your tv back in and try the remote again.... and the remote and TV should be back in sync.
Ok, looks like this TV works on MS Windows. Anyone who has had a computer 5 years back knows that when Windows has a problem, there is only one sure-shot solution.
SHUT IT DOWN, START IT UP !
Try this with your TV. Completely unplug it and leave for one minute. Start again. Voila ! Remote works flawlessly.
