Gosting image
Hello
Ghost image, otherwise called multiple images, that seen as duplicate one next to the picture, normally left side, are mainly due to the reflections of TV signals. That is two signals of the same object, but different in amplitude and in direction comes to the antena of the TV. Both of them gets processed by the internal circuits of the telivison, and comes as images on the screen. The first strong signal will produce strong image, and following will get to the next of it. Due to, say if a news reader appears on the screen will have a shade of the image very next to it, which is annoying.
The only remedy is to prevent the reflected image that comes to the antenna. Tv signals are transmitted in a techniqe called Horizontal Polarisation. That is, signals send from the transmitting tower comes to your antenna, in such a way that to a snake travels on a plane land. On the way if there is an obstruction, it will be delayed, if there is any high rise bulilding or so behind the way of its path that is some distance far away from your antenna or just behind the antenna and transmitter, that high rise structure will reflect the transmitted waves back to your antenna, which causes Ghost image to be produced.
You just reorient your antenna in suach a way that there will be no reflection signals comes to it, and the orginal transmitted signal from the tower only reach to it. You may have to repoition it or have to hoist higher or so. It is a trial and error method, while watching picture on your TV.
I advice you so, thinking that nobody has realigned the video If stage circutary inside your TV. If anybody has done so without proper testing and aligning equipment, this fault may occur. OK.
