If you are using antennae check the direction. If this is a cable input , then with a DVD , if all these show a ghost image, then the convergence of the TV section must be checked. Possible fault in the picture processing -( Y amp luminance)can lead to ghost images.

Ghosting pattern on Walker tv

Bad signal strength is the normal reason, but can also be interference.

How do I fix ghosting on my TV?
Make sure the video cable is securely connected between the TV and the source device. Turn off any electrical or battery-operated devices that may be creating radio frequency (RF) interference. Perform a power reset on the TV . If the issue persist, try plugging the power cord to a different electrical outlet.

Picture has ghost shadows in the faces of people mainly news anchors. Light colors like whites and oranges also have shadows. What could be causing this?

If it does not really display this when a DVD etc is played via a rear audio/video input it is not the set.

Modern cable or sat signals often are compressed and sets cannot on close up views keep up with the signal--when signal is compressed it causes this kind of issue--no way around it.

Ghosting and shading on this series printers is usually caused by either a bad fuser or out of date firmware. There were fixes in firmware that stopped ghosting from happening. As for the cleaning the lens. These models have a bad habit of collecting dust on the inside of the scanner unit and the only way to resolve that is disasemble the laser unit and clean the inside of the lenses.

Just got a Fuji Finepix AX200 for Xmas, we are seeing spots in our pictures - possibly some type of ghosting. How do we correct this?

Ghosting, spots, a series of circular colored hazy anomalies are called lens flair. It happens when a point of strong light source crosses the lens at an angle. Your pictures may have been in a room with a table light to one side or even an over head light. It will happen outdoors when you are shooting into the sun or an angle to the sun. Shooting a lighted Christmas tree will cause numerous possibilities of lens flair. The only fix is to shade the lens either with a lens hood your hand or in my case i sometimes use my hat. Pro cameras and their users fight with this problem on many occasions so it's not because you have an automatic camera.

Gosting image

Hello
Ghost image, otherwise called multiple images, that seen as duplicate one next to the picture, normally left side, are mainly due to the reflections of TV signals. That is two signals of the same object, but different in amplitude and in direction comes to the antena of the TV. Both of them gets processed by the internal circuits of the telivison, and comes as images on the screen. The first strong signal will produce strong image, and following will get to the next of it. Due to, say if a news reader appears on the screen will have a shade of the image very next to it, which is annoying.
The only remedy is to prevent the reflected image that comes to the antenna. Tv signals are transmitted in a techniqe called Horizontal Polarisation. That is, signals send from the transmitting tower comes to your antenna, in such a way that to a snake travels on a plane land. On the way if there is an obstruction, it will be delayed, if there is any high rise bulilding or so behind the way of its path that is some distance far away from your antenna or just behind the antenna and transmitter, that high rise structure will reflect the transmitted waves back to your antenna, which causes Ghost image to be produced.
You just reorient your antenna in suach a way that there will be no reflection signals comes to it, and the orginal transmitted signal from the tower only reach to it. You may have to repoition it or have to hoist higher or so. It is a trial and error method, while watching picture on your TV.
I advice you so, thinking that nobody has realigned the video If stage circutary inside your TV. If anybody has done so without proper testing and aligning equipment, this fault may occur. OK.

Left half of picture has a green ghost like shade

The sounds like the light engine is bad. Sony is notorious for blobs because of the three LCD chip inside consisting of a red, green, and blue chip. The light from the lamp is reflected and then combined back together to form a brilliant picture. Unfortunately one of the chips is bad, or has melted due to extreme heat from the lamps. This can cause the color blobs on the screen. A lot of people experience blue or green blobs in the center or on the sides of their sets.
