Question about D-Link RangeBooster G WBR-2310 Wireless Router (WBR2310)

I do not have an internet connection when using my router...how do I resolve this?

Perform a D-Link Router reset

Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit.

Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button.

Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.

Step 4 Release the Reset button.

Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting.

Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults.

Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure. The default user name for most D-Link devices is admin and the password is left blank.
When it says hold for about 10 seconds, don't hold for more than ten seconds or the procedure will likely fail, if ten seconds doesn't work try 5 seconds.

Hi,

Good day. If your ps3 is not connecting to the internet. Try to do this steps:

1. Check all of the wire and cable from modem to router.
2. Make sure all cables are tight
3. Try to reboot your equipment on this sequence, modem - router - ps3

If these didn't resolve your issue you need to contact your Internet Service Provider to check your connection. Possible the modem is not getting any signal. If your modem is working good then contact the router support to check the settings with your router. But usually your Internet Service Provider will be able to resolve this issues. Cannot connect to Internet via router. works OK when direct connected to DSL modem. Powering off router does not help. port lights flashing very fast on router.


To be able to browse using wifi, the internet (dsl) cable should be at the number 1 port of your router and the other end should be at the modem. No other wires should be connected on the router.

Hi Friend,

Please follow the steps in order to resolve the issue;
I hope you have a cable internet connection.

1.Make sure the connections are properly fitted as mention below:

The wire coming out from the modem should be fitted into the WAN/INTERNET port of the router. Connect the computer to either of the four LAN ports.

2.At the back of the router there is RESET button, push and hold that button for 30 seconds and then release it.
3.Turn off the router for 30 seconds and turn it on after that time.
4.Type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of the web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla) and hit enter
5.Enter the Username and Password(default password is admin and leave the username blank)
6.Under the setup page make sure "Obtain an IP Automatically" is selected and DHCP server is enabled. click save settings
7.Now Click MAC Address Clone
8.Enable MAC Clone Service and click the TAB Clone
9.Click save settings and turn off the router for 30 seconds and Turn it on after 30 seconds.

I hope this will resolve the issue.

Can't connect to internet


just try to power down your router for a minute or two then fire it back up again...9times out of 10 this resolves the issue...failing that try re-installing the wireless adapter.... hope this helps

Belkin router


check you connections
DSL or CABLE Internet service connect to the routers WAN
Your PC connect to one of the 4 LAN, unless you are using wireless.


test Internet connection by directly connecting the modem to your PC, if that works the above should resolve the problem, unless the router is bad.
