It sounds like the main transformer has failed. It would be cheaper to replace the whole microwave than repair this one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Take a hair dryer in low / no heat setting or a plain old fan and let it blow on the keypad for a while. Do not let the key pad get overly warm. You got a bit of moisture in the pad membrane and the goal here is to evaporate the moisture. It may take longer than you think to evaporate the moisture. If you let the moisture stay in the membrane too long it will cause corrosion and the key pad will NOT be usable.
