Unfortunately this webcam only supports XP,2000,98,ME.

But many users have reported success installing the xp drivers/software for your camera.

creative doesn't provide vista drivers, so I afraid that you need newer webcam

this one is for vista but on 32...
I also located some drivers from other microsoft web cams that works on 64... if you need it on 64 try them all from this page ...being from the same manufacturer it might just work ...( at least one of them maybe ...)

the issue is that ya need to make a free log in acount on driver guide site for a free download...its free and it takes about 5 minutes to log in ....

LifeCam NX6000 Initialization Problem on Netvista

You need to get the update with Vista driver. so it will work with Vista.

Problem with webcam nx pro on vista 64

Ok, I found the procedure to install the webcam correctly under Windows Vista.

1- Download the XP driver from the Creative website
2- With WinRar extract the files to a folder on the desktop (don't warry if the downloaded driver file is .exe)
3- Once extracted the files to the folder, open it and again extract the files from the folder called "Win2KXP.cab" into a new folder
4- Open the extracted folder, and you will find a "Driver" folder.
5- Go back to the main driver folder and extract "Eng.cab" files and place them on the "Driver" folder
5- Open the "Driver" folder and double-clik on the file called "VfwUpd.exe"
6- Now go the Device Manager on the Control Panel
7- Plug your webcam and choose manually where to find drivers.
8- select the "Driver" folder or the main driver folder and your webcam is finally working

there's a list of vista supported drivers and creative do not plan on updating their legacy webcams.

I suggest people buy another brand of webcam.

Creative webcam nx pro driver for windows vista 64

When you don't have the drivers-cd:
- Download the XP-drivers of your webcam (and unpack them if they are zipped).

Else start with these steps
1. Uninstall whatever webcam driver you have previously attempted to install.
2. From the device manager, scan for new hardware, and your webcam will be recognized and will continue to search for a driver.
3. If asked for for further search.. choose the place where it must search (cd or your downloaded driver-map)
4. Just allow the prompts to continue with the installation.
5. When the driver is successfully installed, you can test it right away.
