There are no updates available at the present time. You may try a hard reset which involves finding a small pinhole on either the back or bottom (may have small writing that says reset near it) and pressing the button down for ten seconds with the tip of a paperclip. Hi ecarter... it means that the maps on your GPS are out of date and that there are newer ones available to you at the website for your gps. Usually there is a fee charged to download the updated maps. The fee varies from one company to the next.
If your GPS is over 3 years old it might make more sense to get a new GPS rather than put money into updating an old one which is no longer under warranty. Joe
the NCC is the company that manufactured the GPS for Goodyear branding. I have phoned NCC only to be told there are no updates becasue they have not made the GPS "in years". He asked when I purchased it, and I replied 2 years ago, and he quickly blamed the dealer for not telling me at time of purchase. I asked why NCC still has the website up and active, to which he said, "yeah, but did you notice we have no updates?" When I asked him what NCC is going to do to compensate or satisfy my GPS delemma, he told me to go buy a different brand GPS.
