Is the an- xr20lp and an-xr10lp the same lamp or does one have more hours than the other, what is the difference?

For the lamp all you need to do is navigate the menu. This option is always somewhere different in different manufacturers but it should be in somewhere like options or settings. Once you find it you can to a lamp reset back to zero hours.

I'm not sure but I would think the same ballast board is used, and the trimpots adjustments set in the factory.
If you fiddle with it, you may not be able to get the tube to strike on startup, or worse you can explode the lamp.
Also the extra heat generated may degrade the optics and LCD panels.not mention melting the housing.
Better to leave well alone.

Please check the light tunnel and the reflector glass in the projector ,
it seems that the light tunnel or the reflector glass is failed

Reset the lamp timer.
1,Connect the power cord.
2,While simultaneously holding down "menu","enter" and "down" on the projector, press "standby/On" on the projector and keep all four buttons pressed down until the lamp indicator starts blinking green.
"LAMP 0000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

You should consider using original lamp from sharp before some generic lamp destroys the ballast or power supply of the projector.

yes. it's an AN-XR10LP/1.

If lamp is good, Did you reset lamp hours? That should be done. Reset instructions are different for different brand tv's.
If you have reset the lamp hour counter, then test the ballast and the power supply to make sure they are sending out a constant voltage and current reading.

first, make sure you have the correct lamp. the lamp for the xr-10x-l looks like the xr-10x, but the plugs are different (common mistake). make sure you have the AN-XR10L2/1, not the AN-XR10LP/1. to reset the lamp timer (with the projector plugged in but off), hold down the enter, down arrow, and menu buttons and press the power.

Hey, XR10S and XR10SL is the same. The Lamp is SHP93 if for Replacement.
