I have a TCL L42M61AZ LCD TV. I find that the "Channel 9" programs in Adelaide, Australia, namely GEM, GO and Channel 9 DTV will not show a visual picture, only play audio. All other programs are fine. I have reset and rescanned many times including manual installations. They operate on the 191.6Mhz frquency which the scanner picks up and installs, but as stated, with sound only. No picture. Any ideas?

Have you tried doing the channel search? If that does not help replace the main board

1st click the "mode" button on the TV or remote then use the vol. up and down buttons to scroll around until you get to DTV mode then press "enter" on the remote you should get a message "please run channel auto scan" . click "Menu" on the remote the "Picture" screen will come up, keep clicking the vol. up button to scroll past "Audio" then "Setup" then to "Channel" then use the CH up or down buttons to scroll to "Air" click OK , then use the CH down button to scroll to "Scan all channels" then click the vol. up button. it then should start scanning, FYI you have to be fast!

Just go for the commander company website and check with entering your specific flat tv brand name and odelfor a specific code for your tv..they will help you out with this.
Check or type commander brand name in google an go to the website.....you will find a code!...don't hesitate to do it...

U are recieving an using DTV Free AIR broadcasting tv signal wright,get a better antena like a roof or a newly design digital antena for uses.This problems dose not happen to cable or sattellite services,i know this because their broadcasting tv signal frequencies are very strong and very high ranges of a broadcasting signal output for their recieving boxes.
