This machine doesn't have a belt. Instead it uses a motor coupling. A very common problem, that occurs when one overload it.

Dryer wont spin

About 90+% of the time when a dryer won't spin it is a broken/slipped belt.
If the dryer makes some niose when activated, then the motor is turning, which exonerates the
motor, leaving just the belt - the belt may have slipped off a (possibly broken) pulley.

Not spining- water standing can't get water to

If your washer is not spinning ! You first need to drain it. Then underneath your washer you will find your drive system. It will consist of drive belt, drive pulley or pullies and motor. Belt could have come off , if so check the condition before reinstalling, also some times from overloading the belt will spin on the pulley which will make it hot and thanks to the manufacturer the pulley is likely plastic. Parts supply shops best source for belts and possibly pulley though sometimes they want to sale you the whole motor with pulley which you don't need. If so uae internet to find your pulley probably under 10.00 dollars. Hope this helps.

Not spining out good. Looks like its spining slow

Make certain that the spin speed is where you want it (e.g.: high spin). Also, make certain that you aren't overloading the washer. A heavier load will slow down the spin.

You may have a worn drive belt (loss its tension on the pulley). Contact an appliance service company.

Washer was working just fine last night and all the sudden it stopped. It also started making a strange broken gear sound. Washer does not spin but cont. to make this strange niose. Washer Model Whirlpool...

Your motor coupling is broken. You machine does not have a belt. this part does the job of a belt. it is between the motor and the gearcase. The part # is 285753a if I remember correctly it cost about 20 bucks . If you are handy you can do it yourself and save 150 in labor.

Replace the loose belt. Regarding the dripping oil, look for the defective shock absorber. Good luck!
